Alex is a Director at Gateway and advises clients on all aspects of their investor relations strategy and relationships within the investment community including message development, institutional targeting and marketing, and IR program planning and execution.

He has over a decade of capital markets and financial communications experience across various industries and has advised clients on a wide range of special situations, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs/SPACs, and shareholder activism. Prior to Gateway, Alex worked at strategic communications firms Sloane & Company and Finsbury in their New York offices on a wide range of corporate reputation matters. Alex began his career in the equity research department of Sandler O’Neill + Partners covering financial institutions.

Alex received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from Rutgers University. He is also an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). In his spare time, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new hiking trails, fishing, playing golf, and cooking.
