Alec joined Gateway in 2021 and leads investor relations and strategic communications programs across the fintech, digital assets, and emerging technologies landscape. He advises growth-oriented companies on market positioning, corporate storytelling, and investor engagement, helping translate complex innovation into clear narratives that resonate with institutional and retail investor audiences.

Since joining Gateway, Alec has guided clients throughout the U.S. and Canada through capital markets transactions, earnings communications, and long-term shareholder strategy, shaping how disruptive technology companies tell their stories.

Before Gateway, Alec worked in media and film finance at BondIt Media Capital and spent two years as a freelance script consultant, advising Hollywood writers and producers on story development.

Alec holds a B.S. in Management Science & Engineering with a minor in Creative Writing from Stanford University, and an M.S. in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University’s School of Communication.

Outside of work, he enjoys film, live music, and exploring new places.
