Porch is often compared to review sites or contractor search pages but is a more comprehensive approach to the home services space – and these comparisons were reductive. The Porch Group ecosystem is a large web of home service companies working off the Porch-built and maintained CRM and ERP. They sought to differentiate themselves from these search and review comps throughout their SPAC IPO, in a way that built trust in them as a technology leader pioneering the future of the home.

With the Porch leadership team, we distilled their vision and product offerings into a compelling narrative, connected the team with external stakeholders across investors, research analysts, media, and influencers throughout their SPAC IPO process; and continuing high-touch support to maintain active stakeholder engagement beyond their de-SPAC.

Gateway’s bespoke approach to communications successfully supported PropTech and Porch Group’s SPAC transaction, de-SPAC process, and business combination through consistent and enduring connections with relevant and engaged investors, including 55 investor meetings through the transaction, 2 analyst days attended by 45 analysts, and 2 initiations of analyst coverage. Gateway continued to support Porch Group’s transition into a public company as the primary communications infrastructure for both IR and PR efforts, and additionally integrated into brand, marketing, internal communications, and social media.
