Monica joined Gateway in 2022 as a Receptionist/Office Assistant. She has spent most of her life raising her three children and volunteering in the Philadelphia area. From 2015 to 2018 she was the chairperson of a sock collection campaign at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur. She was also the Director of Programs for the Mother’s Club at St. Joseph’s Prep in 2016.

In California, she has volunteered for the Irvine Lakewood Senior Center and Purpose Jewelry. After engaging in some temporary positions, she is thrilled to rejoin the workforce.

Monica is originally from Monterrey, Mexico and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She holds two degrees from Tecnologico de Monterrey. One in Business Administration and the other in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

She lives in Newport Beach with her husband and two dogs. Monica loves Broadway, the Barnes Foundation, going to the movies, watching football, and training for Ironman races.
